Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has expressed satisfaction with the newly introduced Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) Machine by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The Governor stated this in an interview with newsmen shortly after casting his votes for the presidential and national assembly elections at Government Day Secondary School kirchinga in Madagali local government area of the State.
The governor pointed out that the BVAS has made the process of accreditation and voting easier without much delay, unlike before.
On the turnout of voters, the Governor described it as quite impressive, considering the large number of voters that turned out to the polling unit and ready to exercise their franchise.
The INEC officials and Security personnel as well as voters were punctual at the polling units and that voting has started as scheduled.
