…Hope Justice And Fairness Will Visit ATV Yola, Relating To The Position Of Director Of Administration – Political Pundits
The premier radio station, Adamawa Broadcasting Corporation, ABC Yola has finally gotten a new General Manager whom the majority of the staff worked in protest to have appointed for the progress of the broadcasting corporation.
The ABC staff who expressed delight, revealed to the Periscope Global that the appointment of Mr Abdulnasir Ali as the GM of the ABC is indeed a win against the wind of sentiment that had almost blown away the staff morale that in morality read what was considered as injustice and that which they were left with no option but to protest against.
Until the recent appointment, Mr Abdulnasir Ali who hailed from Mubi South local government area, was the Director Finance and the most senior Director in the broadcasting corporation.
Recall that the members of staff with the ABC have in January, “staged a protest over the attempt by the Ministry of Information and Strategy to impose one of the directors in the corporation to serve as General Manager in acting capacity in disregard to the scheme of service.
“The former General Manager of the radio station, on attainment of 60 years in service, was said to have handed over to the most senior director in the corporation who was a substantive director since 2007 but for alleged schemers’ exclusivist reasons, the handing over was revoked in favour the one-of-us-ness favourite of some key actors in the m ministry of information.
“The favourite who would be raised above his superior, by taking over in acting capacity was only confirmed as a director in 2017, the same way a most senior lady director was schemed out at Adamawa Television Corporation, ATV Yola”.
While congratulating the ABC staff for the realisation of justice with the appointment the new General Manager of their qualified choice, the political pundits hoped that “justice, fairness and impartiality would visit ATV Yola, relating to the position of Director of Administration.
