The Court of Appeal sitting Abuja has on Monday, reserved judgment in an appeal filed by the PDP Candidate, Hon. Adamu Baba Mustapha against the member representing Yola South constituency and former Speaker of the assembly, Rt. Hon. Kabiru Mijinyawa.
The court said that the date of judgment will be communicated.
Mijinyawa is re-elected under APC platform to represent his constituency for the 3rd term, making him the star of the 3-state assembly member who should have been the speaking but he be longs to the opposition party with the declaration by the INEC of PDP candidate as the winner of the governorship election in the state, which is however challenged before the law waiting for the apex courts’ determination
PDP’s Mustapha is challenging the judgment passed by the National/House of Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal that dismissed the petition he had instituted against the declaration by the INEC of APC’s Mijinyawa.
