Most Distinguished Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed, a.k.a Binani, the APC governorship candidate in Adamawa state, generally referred to as the Governor-In-Waiting has bagged the Most Distinguished Personality of the year (2023). Given as MAN OF THE YEAR but for the gender.
The amazing amazon merited the award based on her charismatic leadership, courageous political undertaking, human and facility capacity developments tied to the empowerment initiatives to address poverty and unemployment.
Political pundits pointed out that but for the political heroine, opposition party in Adamawa state would have been in a coffin occasioned by conspiracy and complicity to anti party activities.
Binani has her mind set to deliver good governance with justice and fairness without animosity to the point of nursing vendetta against the few who failed to favour her at the polls, as an improvement to her representational responsibilities she is adjudged to have delivered excellently and the philanthropy beyond the lawmaking.
She said, “To the electorate; whether or not you’ve voted for APC, PDP, LABOUR PARTY, NNPP, PRP, ADC or any other party, you have exercised your democratic rights by endorsing your preferred candidate. I thank you all for fulfilling such tenets of democracy… I’ll, in God’s name, be servant-Governor for the entire citizenry irrespective of gender, faith, ethnicity or political affiliations”.
Prof Ahmed Modibbo Mohammed, MFR bagged the Most Distinguished Husband of the Year. The honour is owing to his contributions and sacrifices, joining the popular call for good governance by offering his wife, Distinguished Senator Aishatu Binani to fly the APC governorship flag in Adamawa state.
In the words of political heroine while addressing the citizenry when she was earlier declared winner of the 2023 governorship election in Adamawa state… “To my dear husband, Prof. Ahmed Modibbo Muhammad, I cannot thank you enough for standing by me through thick and thin. You have set a pace for Nigerian husbands to emulate. I am most sincerely grateful”.
Prof Modibbo, the Pro-Chancellor of the University of Abuja also earned the national honour as MEMBER OF THE ORDER OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC (MFR). National honours are awards officially given to distinguished members of the society, by way of recognising their contributions towards national development. Professor Modibbo has in this respect, duly paid his dues and is still serving the country and humanity.

To eradicate banditry is to eradicate subjugation, suppression, superimposition, oppression, alienation and annihilation; to achieve this is to promote education, the quest for genuine knowledge benefitting to pastoralists; these count as the FUDECO mission.
Green Environmental Solutions (GESoL) bagged the Most Outstanding International NGO, honoured for Advocating Afforestation: (Planting, Educating, Monitoring and Empowering Pupils/Students On Afforestation As Environmental Solution In Northern Nigeria)
To prevent indiscriminate felling of trees is not ban cooking with firewood and charcoal without providing alternative, but to encourage growing of economic trees.
Established about five years ago, Green Environmental Solutions, GESoL, a nongovernmental organisation with the Motto: “Plant, Educate, And Empower” – explained as plant trees in schools, educate pupils and students on how to plant and maintain trees and acquire agricultural knowledge in general and eventually financially empower the children as pupils and students with the proceeds of the economic trees planted – is with the mission to plant trees in schools for teaching and learning to be conducive, on farmlands against desertification and at home for shelter and as economic empowerment.
A patriotic Adamawa indigene in Diaspora, Dr Ibrahim Muhammad Dodo, is the founder, speaking with the Periscope Global in his Canada residence, he explained that GESoL has the mission to regreen not only Adamawa as a state, Nigeria as a country but Africa as a continent
Over three million seeds and seedlings are planted and monitored across the northern state. The trees are mainly economic fruit trees like Oranges, Mangoes, Guava, Tangerines, cashews and blackcurrants. We’ll also supply seedlings like Mahogany, Neem, Eucalyptus, Yellow Cassia, Manila, Durumi and others.
A Greener, cleaner environment and a better-educated cohort of children who are hopefully economically empowered.

Mohammed Gidado Mohammad, FIBDFM, Sarkin Dawakin Jimeta; the Founder) bagged the Distinguished Youth with Big Heart Award; honoured for assisting indigent patients, students and empowering and encouraging the youth and women to join politics not as thugs but as candidates.
Abdullahi Isa Audu, a second year student of International Relations at American University of Nigeria (AUN) Yola, Adamawa has bagged the Distinguished Student Honour Award for Promoting Afforestation by Donating Seedlings to Institutions.
Watermax and Beverages Company has been distinguished for Philanthropy and Corporate Social Responsibility. Trucks of bottled water are donated to schools and faith based organisations while marking their activity-worthy to the society. Dr Abubakar Rufai, FBDFM, holding the traditional title of Ma’aji is the MD,CEO. Watermax, like MGM Foundation, has maintained the lead in the category of the Periscope Global Award.
