Deputy Director General, DDG, Nigerian Law School Yola campus, Rilwanu Muhammad Salmanu Esq, has congratulated Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital, MAUTH Yola for having Prof Adamu Bakari Girei as the substantive Chief Medical Director, CMD.
Salmanu Esq made the remark Wednesday while receiving in audience the management of MAUTH Yola on a courtesy visit.
Prof Bakari gave the reason for the visit, considered as familiarisation and collaborative following the change of leadership of the hospital being good neighbours without need for a fence between, which the poet Robert Frost would in his “Mending Wall” express “Good fences make good neighbours.” the neighbour would however moralise that “Fences do not make neighbours but strangers that are apathetic towards each other”.
Incidentally, the Yola campus of the Nigerian Law School has also got a new leadership in February, the same month the CMD FMC Yola was appointed.
The newly appointed DDG thanked the MAUTH management for the visit and the continued support of medical equipment and consumables at the school’s clinic, which he attributed to the initiative of the DG Nigerian Law School, Prof Isa Hayatu Chiroma when he was the DDG of the Yola Campus over a decade ago.
Prof Bakari has assured continued support after having inspected the school’s clinic as a highlight of the visit.
