Speaking, the CIT Amir, Dr Usman Ahmed Dadah said the entire month of Ramadan, backed by the month before and after it, is sacred, hence a blessing.
Ramadan is a month in which the noble Qur’an is revealed and in it lies the Night of Power (Lailatul Qadr), weighing more than a thousand nights.
Scholars are agreed that the blessed night can be found in any of the last ten nights of Ramadan; the faithful are urged to commit to performing extra acts of worship on all the ten nights.
The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in Sahih Bukhari Hadith number 2017, asked the Ummah to “Search for the Night of Qadr in the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan”.
