The former commissioners, advisers, local governments and development area administrators, chairmen of boards and parastatals and principal special assistants that worked under the former Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow of Adamawa state, joined in solidarity by the former Governor Nyako aides said their loyalty to APC as a political party and support to ensure victory for the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the governorship candidate, Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed, a.k.a Binani and the entire APC candidates remained unshaken.
The group, in a solidarity meeting with Binani on Wednesday said more than 90℅ of members are with APC, the party they have benefited from and have no reason to remain hypocritically ungrateful.
The solidarity meeting was in response to the solidarity visit some group – said to be at the behest of the former governor Bindow – paid to the present Adamawa state governor, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri at the government house in Yola on Monday, January 9, 2023, to declare their resolve to join in the anti-party activities by supporting the governor and other PDP candidates to victory.
Fintiri is at the same time the PDP governorship candidate in the state, seeking for a second term, which Bindow failed to achieve.
A viral video also exposed one of Bindow loyalists, said to be a serving state assembly member elected under APC from Mubi, Hon Musa Mbororo, engaged in anti-electoral act by deploying foul language to cast aspersion and libel against not only Binani but also President Muhammadu Buhari and the national leadership of the APC that bringing Binani and showcasing her for a solidarity vote would end only at deception because even if she were to emerge victorious at the poll, she would be denied the mandate as a lady. He therefore called on the supporters to vote for Fintiri and the PDP candidates all through.
One of the anti anti-Bindow’s anti-party activities revealed to the Periscope Global that they would not let anybody to either mortgage their conscience and integrity and/or trade with their names and/or personalities; that they are experienced enough to figure that out.
Another member of the group would lament that former governor Bindow paid severance allowance only to himself, having lost the 2015 election, before leaving office, arguing that the succeeding government should pay them.
However, to their dismay, to this day, their severance packages remained unpaid, perhaps until after another swearing in; this time, with Binani as the governor, to pay both them and the would be defeated Fintiri aides.
The group echoed President Muhammadu Buhari’s projection, referring to Binani as the Governor-In-Waiting, promised to work for APC to ensure a top to bottom victory at the poll.
Responding, Binani registered appreciation over the solidarity meeting to disclose unshaken support, effort and comments to work for the victory of APC and the entire APC candidates.
The Governor-In-Waiting promised that she would not disappoint them and the citizenry, adding that the beauty of internal democracy lies not in the defection after losing the losing ticket but to remain in the party to work for the victory in God’s name.
The APC governorship candidate urged the group members to ensure that they deliver to the APC, their individual constituencies.
