Dadah acknowledged that Neliaku’s unwavering commitment to the advancement of the Public Relations profession in Nigeria and beyond would not be overemphasised, therefore, his emergence as National President is a testament to the trust and confidence reposed in him by his professional colleagues.
Dadah also remarked that the new Vice President Prof. Emmanuel Dandaura’s outstanding career in academia, his vision for Public Relations Research and Development would contribute to the continued development and professionalisation of Public Relations practice in Nigeria and beyond.
Dadah said that even though the Adamawa chapter’s candidate, Hon Ahmad I Sajoh, who would have made valuable contributions to the progress and development of the Institute, would not make it to the Council, the chapter remained grateful to other state chapters for the confidence they have in Sajoh to have scored an impressive 390 and 7 voided votes as an independent candidate.
The Adamawa State Chapter has pledged an unwavering support and cooperation to Dr. Neliaku and entire members of the new Governing Council of the Institute as they assume their respective roles, Dadah said.
