The FUDECO students and youths forum, Bauchi State University BASUGA Chapter organised a colourful Cultural Day, October 25, 2023, at the Yuli Campus. The main business of day were cultural displays, presentations and keynote addresses on FUDECO activities, peace and nation building.
The youths were urged to shun anything that leads to criminality because it is against Pulaaku and our religion. They were admonished to study hard and uphold the Fulbe cultural heritage.
Corticates of recognition were hand to some of the Fulbe leaders in Bauchi who have shown great support to education of the Fulbe children.
Many invited guests were present including: Dr Nuru Mohammad (HOD Pol. Science) who was the Keynote Speaker, Dr Abdul Rashid Adamu (Deputy Dean Student Affairs), Dr Ibrahim Aliyu Disina (HOD Business Administration), Dr Ruqaiyah Aminu Gar of Pol. Science, a representative of the Dean Faculty of Social Science, Hajia Hadiza Almustapha (Works and Physical Planning Department), Hajia Hasiya Hassan (Guidance and Counselling Unit), Alhaji Abdullahi and Dr Auwal Tilde (Patrons of the FUDECO Students Forum in BASUG), Dr Salisu Ibrahim Waziri (Deputy Dean of the Postgraduate School), Alh Musa Muhammad Ardo (Secretary Bauchi Agency for Nomadic Education),. Alh. Korijo Buba Umar (Director Quality Assurance SUBEB), Alh. Muhammad Musa Ardo, FUDECO member, Ibrahim Jungudo Globe FM Bauchi) among others.
The FUDECO Students and Youth was formed recently and has over 300 members from over a dozen institutions of higher learning. The aim is to unite and mobilise the youths for Fulbe development and progress as well as provide them support and guidance.
